ROLAND SETH GIDDENS SR
86 passed away Friday, January 25, 2008. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Giddens. He is survived by his wife of 54 years. Children, Darlene S. House (Lorissa Pfaff), David R. Giddens (Robin); grandsons, Daniel (Joyce), Dane, and Justin Giddens; a great grandson, Jullian Seth Giddens; one brother and one sister. From his first marraige, one son Roland Jr (Sherry) two grandsons, Ryan and Jason Giddens and two great grandaughters. During WWII, Mr. Giddens served in the US Navy at Pearl Harbour during the attack. He later owned and operated Roland’s Grocery and Giddens Wholesale. The family will receive friends, Monday, January 28, 2008 from 6pm-8pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11am at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Decided to post in order to see if Google picked it up. Plus I got to write the obituary the way I wanted to. LOL
If I am out of line I apologize. I am looking for long lost cousins. My grandmother was Ruby Giddens, her father Charles Giddens, Her uncle Henry Giddens, her grandfather Seth Hamilton Giddens. Thay were from the Brooksville, Tampa, Wimauma area, Thank you, Dwayne. mearesdwayne9537@aol.com
